Date: Friday, January 11, 2019
Location: South Hall 3504

2) A pen and/or a pencil
If you have questions about the exam, please review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section: http://www.ems.ucsb.edu/graduate/faq
At UCSB, international students should take the English Language Placement Exam (ELPE). The ELPE will place students into the appropriate course(s) in order to satisfy the Entry Level Writing Requirement (ELWR). Students who take the ELPE may be placed into Writing 1, Linguistics 12 or, if written performance indicates a need for additional academic writing instruction prior to the ELWR courses, into one of three pre-ELWR courses (Linguistics 3A, 3B or 3C).
If you have questions about the exam, please review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section: http://www.ems.ucsb.edu/undergrad/faq
