Andreea Corona

In 2024, Andreea served as an English Language Specialist for the U.S. Department of State, Georgetown University, and the Centro Cultural Paraguayo Americano (CCPA) in Paraguay, where she collaborated on the development and implementation of comprehensive placement tests for adult and junior English language programs. This valuable experience further informed her role as Undergraduate Curriculum Chair and enhanced her expertise in curriculum design and aligning instruction with student learning outcomes.

Most recently, she was recognized as the recipient of the 2025 CATESOL Ron Lee Technology Award, recognizing her thoughtful integration of technology in academic reading, writing, and oral skills courses through experiential learning and collaborative pedagogical approaches.

These meaningful international and professional experiences directly inform her classroom instruction, where she fosters engaging learning experiences through the strategic integration of digital tools. Andreea's pedagogical approach helps students develop academic skills that support success in their current academic pursuits.
