What do students have to say?
- "I think I learn a lot in this Linguistic 3B class. Before taking this class, I don't even know how to write an essay. I mess up everything. But Mr Tsai is a patient and responsible teacher, he gave office hour to help us learn how to revise our essay structure and also different forms such as APA and MLA. Besides, I learn gramma and structural, which helps a lot in academic essay."
- "Before attending this class, I was unable to identify any errors in my essay. However, now I can pinpoint several mistakes, and I consider this a significant improvement."
- "This course helped me feel more confident in my writing and self-editing skills. Before, I often made grammar mistakes without noticing, but now I can find and fix them better. For example, I used to struggle with commas, but now I understand where to use them. I still have things to improve, but I feel more sure about my writing now."
- "This course significantly improved my confidence in writing and self-editing. Before taking LING 3C, I often struggled with organizing my ideas clearly and revising my drafts effectively. However, through consistent writing practice, structured peer reviews, and detailed feedback from the instructor, I began to understand how to identify and fix common issues in my writing such as unclear thesis statements, weak transitions, or grammar errors."
