What do students have to say?
- "Very dedicated professor and she cares a lot about her students. Tasks were always reasonable and she provided explicit instruction on how to succeed. Always offered meaningful and thoughtful feedback."
- "The most valuable aspects of the course are definitely indicated in its description: learning how to annotate and fully understand material based on articles of a certain subject. The course is very well rounded with the material presented and includes very helpful strategies that left me feeling a lot more prepared for academic research in my own field as well as various others. It is also very collaborative and group based, which I also enjoyed. It was very different from other courses I have taken because I felt very connected to my peers."
- “The class was relatively smaller than most of my other classes and I really enjoyed bonding with my classmates and the professor. I came into class fearing discussions and reading, but by the end of the course, I was able to understand texts better and share my ideas with peers."
- “Ingrid will always be there to reach out and help in any way she can. Participation, peer work and discussions really do have an affect on this course."
